“Textures in Stitch and Stroke,” a two-person show of work by Diana Ozolins and Saundra Goodman will be at the State of the Art this month.
Ozolins works directly outdoors or from photos in the studio, using oil paint, brush and palette knife to recreate the feeling of being immersed in our beautiful landscapes in and around Ithaca.
Goodman uses crochet as her artistic medium to express the vibrancy of the world and life, interpreted through pictorial and sculptural forms.
Both artists present a riot of color to delight the senses.
The show runs from October 1 to November 1, 2020. Hours: Thurs. & Fri., 12–6pm, Sat. & Sun., 12–5pm, at 120 W Martin Luther King, Jr./State Street. Curbside parking and ADA accessibility. 607–277–1626.
